Dholera Overview

The Dholera Activation Area is the first fully serviced patch of the Dholera Special Investment Region, roughly 22.5 sq km inside Town Planning Scheme 2. It is the plug-and-play demonstration zone, carrying the region's first trunk roads, underground utilities, drainage and water systems, plus the ABCD building that houses the smart-city command centre. It is about 4.25% of the region's developable land and is the most developed part of Dholera today. An earlier 2020 target of about 120,000 residents and 80,000 jobs for the zone has since lapsed.
