Japanese delegation explores semiconductor opportunities in Dholera

A recent visit by a Japanese delegation to Dholera has underscored the growing interest in the region's semiconductor sector. The delegation's exploration is aligned with ongoing developments that position Dholera SIR (Special Investment Region) as a focal point for semiconductor manufacturing in India. This strategic engagement reflects Japan's keen interest in investing and collaborating in the burgeoning semiconductor ecosystem, particularly as Dholera prepares to house India’s first semiconductor fabrication plant (fab) spearheaded by Tata Electronics and the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (PSMC).
