Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel reviews infrastructure, semiconductor project progress at Dholera SIR

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel recently conducted a review meeting to assess the progress of infrastructure projects and the ongoing semiconductor initiative in Dholera Smart Industrial City (SIR). This review comes at a critical time as the Union Cabinet has approved a substantial investment of ₹3,936 crores for India’s first gallium nitride (GaN)-based micro-LED unit to be established in Dholera. With Tata Electronics and the Public Sector Microelectronics Corporation (PSMC) collaborating on the Dholera Semiconductor Fab, which is slated to be India's first semiconductor manufacturing facility of its kind, the local administration is focusing on fast-tracking the necessary infrastructure.
