Dholera Airport 80 % Complete : Aviation Minister Naidu Review

Union Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu recently reviewed the Dholera International Airport project in Gujarat, noting that it is 80% complete. He emphasized the airport's national importance as part of an integrated hub that includes a manufacturing zone and a semiconductor cluster. The project is designed to enhance multi-modal connectivity, linking the airport to a high-speed rail corridor and a major six-lane highway. The Dholera International Airport, inspired by a vision from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is positioned to serve as a catalyst for economic growth and development in the region. The construction involves various structures, with the terminal building at 75% completion and other key components fully completed. The Minister also announced an MOU for an assembly line for India’s first civilian aircraft and outlined plans for operationalizing the airport by late 2023.
